Flameski Terms and Conditions

1. Making a booking.

 

Bookings are made by telephone or email and are confirmed on receipt of a 20% deposit. The remaining balance must be paid at least six weeks before the commencement of the rental period; otherwise the booking will not be guaranteed and the accomodation may be offered to alternative clients. 

Booking must be made for the whole chalet. Bookings for individual rooms cannot be accepted.

The person making the booking is referred as the client and is responsible for all the named members of the party relating to the booking.

 

2. Cancellations and changes by the client.

 

If you cancel all or part of your booking after it has been confirmed by Flameski.com we must be notified in writing by recorded delivery by the client. The following cancellation fees apply;

 

More than 10 weeks before departure; loss of deposit
6-10 weeks of departure date: 50% of total cost
2-6 weeks of departure date: 75% of total cost
2 weeks or less of departure date: 100% of total cost.

 

In the event that the chalet is subsequently filled by another client following your cancellation, we will return any cancellation fee previously charged.

3. Cancellations by flameski.com

In the unlikely event that flameski.com is forced to cancel a client’s booking (such as chalet sale or damage by fire or weather), any monies received from the client will be refunded by cheque or electronic transfer within fourteen days. Flameski.com will also endeavour to assist the client in finding alternative suitable accommodation.  

 

4. Client responsibility and behaviour.

 

Clients are responsible at all times for their personal safety, the safety of their personal baggage, documents and all ski equipment (including rental equipment). Flameski.com reserve the right, at our discretion, to terminate without notice and liability the holiday of any person whose behaviour is such that it is likely to disrupt the enjoyment of others in resort or cause damage to property or third party. Full cancellation charges will apply and we will be under no obligation whatsoever for repatriation or any costs incurred by the client.

 

5. General conditions.

 

Clients are responsible at all times for their personal safety, the safety of their personal baggage, documents and all ski equipment (including rental equipment). Flameski.com cannot accept responsibility for loss or injury during organised guiding sessions or otherwise. Flameski.com cannot accept responsibility for any loss, delay or costs connected with adverse weather or traffic conditions, avalanche danger, mud slips, slides and snow conditions and the effect any of these may have on travel arrangements, accommodation and skiing. We expect clients to have arranged suitable insurance cover for all losses, injuries and inconveniences that may occur during the course of their holiday.

 

Flameski.com cannot accept responsibility for any limitations imposed by resort authorities, ski lifts and ski school, ski hire operators or any travel arrangements made by the clients.

 

For safety and hygiene reasons and the comfort of other guests, there is a no smoking policy in the chalet. Clients may smoke if they wish on the external terraces.

 

Flameski.com does not accept pets in its chalet without prior agreement.

 

6. Recommendations and Complaints

 

Flameski welcome any recommendations of improvements that could be made to the chalet, information services, booking methods and website Please contact us through the Contact Us section of the website.

 

In the unlikely event of any problem occurring during your holiday, please report this straight away and before your departure so that the matter can be resolved immediately. Recourse can only be considered if notified by e-mail within 28 days following completion of the rental period.
