![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Les Carroz has become an important resort in Le Grand Massif, France’s fourth largest ski area with 78 lifts serving 265km of 132 varied pistes centred around Flaine. Despite its modest altitude, the area has a better snow record than any comparable resort in The ski area is essentially two distinct but easily linked areas. Le Massif provides an abundance of motorway and tree lined skiing located above the traditional villages of Samoens, Morrillon and Les Carroz. A high speed gondola (new for 2004/05) carries Les Carroz skiers in to the heart of Le Massif area in less than six minutes. Le Grand Massif, the plateau above Flaine increases the choice further.
